eternity ring in need of a good clean?

My gold eternity ring is very dirty around the diamonds and I have tried using a soft toothbrush to get the dirt out but its not shiny any more.Any ideas on how to get it looking good again

2. Does your jeweler offer any cleaning services? Otherwise, soap and water works for me, just not as well as my jeweler's work.
3. Soaking it vodka works really well. Also the person who suggested a jewelry is right. There are a lot of Jewelry stores who will clean it for free.
4. leave it in a little gin
5. Gin is an old fashioned idea but it really works. Any spirit will do. Also dishsoap. Leave it to soak in a little dish and then use a soft brush to clean. Rinse and dry with a soft cloth.
